The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has launched a new student loan program to make higher education more accessible.

Eligibility:

• Enrolled in a public tertiary institution (university, polytechnic, college of education, or vocational school)
• No income or parental loan history restrictions

Repayment:

• Starts two years after NYSC service
• 10% of salary or income deducted through payroll system
• Extension possible in case of hardship
• Loan forgiveness in cases of permanent disability or death
